Play Date Residency @ ICA

Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston

We led three hands-on artmaking workshops in the Summer of 2019 in partnership with ICA Boston. Workshops were designed and facilitated as enriching experiences for intergenerational audiences to bond over art-making.

  • July’s workshop, inspired by the museum’s exhibition Less Is a Bore: Maximalist Art & Design, focused on upcycled weavings and creating a community tapestry.

  • August’s workshop sought inspiration from the museum’s seaside location, leading to a kaleidoscope-building workshop where participants explored shifting perspectives.

  • September’s workshop captured time through handprints and printmaking on custom tote bags.
